Our party of nine was seated without much wait. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Receiving our meals was another story. The wait was LONG!! Two of the meals was grilled salmon. The part of the salmon that touched the grill had a bad taste (like hot dogs had been grilled previously). Don't expect that taste with salmon. Grill likely needed cleaned. The other meals were fine.
They were out of baked potatoes early in the evening. Chicken was so so. I really expected the chicken breast to be on the bone. It came as a flat patty. I don't know how you get that off of a chicken. Was it groumd up and shaped, like McDonald's does? I don't know.
Good food that's not fast food late at night
Our server pretty much ruined our experience. Aside from her poor service, the menu was lacking severely of steak ... sirloin only. The double crunch shrimp wasn't what I was expecting... Fish n chips a 2 out of 10. And when the server hovered over me while paying the check in an effort to pressure me when selecting a tip, that capped off. I will not go to Applebee's in Marietta again.
When we walked inside no one was there to greet us, workers looked at us and still never said anything. A girl finally walked over to the front and walked by us then said hi and got us 2 menus, but didn’t ask if we needed a kids menu when we had a little one. We got seated, no one came over for about 5 minutes, she asked if we had been helped and we said no, she got our drinks and we ordered appetizers. We then ordered our food, one being steak and shrimp being well done, when we received it it was not well done, more like medium rare to medium. Then was told a manager would bring it out, he never did. Waited for about 10/15 minutes for our recook.! Our waitress who finally helped us was amazing.! But everything else was horrible.!
