When in Marietta on motorcycle day rides we like to stop in to The Galley for lunch. Laid back, popular with locals, nice choices, never disappointed.
Good service, usually busy, and I think one of the better places to go for a sit-down meal in the area. They're very accommodating, too. I have used this place two or three times for large group dinners (a birthday and a graduation with 12+ people) and if you call and discuss it in advance, they can usually make it work. Outdoor seating is lovely during the warmer months and the food is diverse and well prepared.
Wonderful setting in a historic Marietta building which creates a nice atmosphere. Menu offers a wide range of food including octopus, lamb burgers, and fried chicken. There's something here for everyone, just be expect to pay a little more.
Great service, excellent security staff during concert. Standing room only with little view of stage and swinging door to adjacent hotel bar was the negative aspect of the visit. The door opens into the small venue hitting anyone standing or walking by and reduces a decent size area to stand. Clean place and nicely managed though.
First time visit... Food was very good, the net lieu looked good (couldn't partake since I had to go back to work after lunch), and the restaurant itself was very nice inside. Would definitely go back!
